This Comprehensive & Exciting Dog Grooming Course Will Take You From Being A Complete Beginner In The Dog Grooming Industry, Guiding You Through All Of The Safety Precautions And Grooming Techniques To How You Go About Setting Up Your Brand New Venture. This Course Will Be Conducted In An Appropriate Grooming Environment Under The Supervision Of A Qualified Grooming Teacher.

Upon Completion Of This Short Course, You Will Be Equipped With The Required Skills And Knowledge To Provide Grooming Services To Dogs. You Will Receive A Certificate Of Completion From Tiny Tails Pet Salon, Letter Of Recommendation For Your Future Employment & Ongoing Support.

• Part 3: Shears

• Part 4: First Clip - Holding A Clipper

• Module 2 Assessment

Day 2 - Module 1:

• Part 1: Bathing & Blow Drying

• Part 2: Clipping the Body Back Area

• Part 3: Brush Out

• Part 4: Basic Scissoring techniques

• Module 1 Assessment

Day 2 - Module 2:

• Part 1: Body Clip including Neck Area & Basic Scissoring

• Module 2 Assessment

Day 3 - Module 1:

• Part 1: Clipping The Body

• Part 2: Clipping under the neck

• Module 1 Assessment

Day 3 - Module 2:

• Part 1: Grooming Legs

• Part 2: Scissoring

Day 4 & 5: Practice

• Part 1: All day Grooming Practice

• Part 2: Grooming Hygiene and Pawpad

• Part 3: Full Body Clip Completed including basic scissoring

  Requirements For This Course:

• You Must Be Over 17 Years Of Age

• You Need To Be Fit to be able to stand on your feet at all times, picking up heavy dogs and being able to wash and blow dry dogs of all sizes. This is a physical career and you need a physical strength.

• You Need to be able to follow instructions carefully to avoid injuring dogs and yourself.

• You Need to be able to handle dogs in a loving and caring manner.

• You Need to be fluent in English

• You must bring at least one dog per day - total of 5 dogs for the duration of the course.
