1. Grooming Terms & Conditions

    1. Grooming cancellations. Please give us at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or change your appointment. You will be charged the full amount of your booking for a no-show and late cancellation.

    2. Punctuality. Please arrive early for your appointment. Because of our busy schedule, we may be unable to accept your dog if you arrive late, and no refund will be given in this case.

    3. Matted dogs. If your dog is matted, we must use sharp blades close to the skin to remove the matting. This process can cause skin irritation, laceration, cuts and bleeding. By booking a matted dog with us, you consent to the removal of matting. Tiny Tails does not refund the grooming cost and bears no responsibility for any injury caused by matting removal. Matting fees vary depending on severity; a fully matted coat may incur an additional charge of up to $90.

    4. Difficult dogs. Dogs that dislike grooming, or are hyperactive or aggressive, are at higher risk of being cut by sharp instruments. Please consider calming medication (as advised by your vet) before drop-off. Tiny Tails bears no responsibility for any injury caused in these circumstances.

    5. Senior dogs & Dogs with health conditions. These dogs are at higher risk of a serious or fatal reaction to the stress of grooming, including the noise of the blow dryer and general nervousness, due to their age or health. Tiny Tails bears no responsibility for any injury, illness or death arising from these age-related or health related risks.

    6. Veterinary costs. Tiny Tails does not cover veterinary costs incurred during or after the lodgement of pets.

    7. Hygiene. Please walk your dog before your appointment. If your dog urinates or defecates on the grooming table during grooming, a $10 sterilising fee will apply to cover re-sterilising our tools.

    8. Pricing. Our prices are based on regular grooming every 6 to 8 weeks. Additional charges may apply if this schedule is not maintained.

    9. Payment. I agree to pay the charges outlined above for the period my pet is in the care of Tiny Tails Pet Salon, including the cost of any veterinary attention the Salon deems necessary for my pet during that period.

    10. Amendments. These terms and conditions may be updated by the Salon from time to time and apply each time a pet is admitted into our care.

    11. Acknowledgement. I confirm that I have read and understood these terms and conditions, and that I am entitled to a copy at any time.
